How does steering work?
The scooter uses lean-to-steer — your child turns by shifting their body weight left or right, and the front wheels follow. No twisting handlebars, no awkward hand movements. It teaches real balance and body control the same way skiing or skateboarding does. Most kids pick it up within a few rides. Wide-open sidewalks and parks are the best place to practice.
Is the seat actually safe for toddlers?
Yes — the flip-down seat is built for exactly this age. Younger kids can ride seated, scooting with their feet to push along, while holding the handlebar for support. It's a natural, low-to-the-ground position with a wide stable deck under them. As they grow and build confidence, they'll start lifting themselves up to stand on their own. No pressure, no rush.
Do the light-up wheels need batteries?
Nope. The wheels light up automatically from the spinning motion — no batteries, no switches, no charging. They glow as long as the wheels are rolling. Kids love them. You'll love not having to replace anything.
How do I adjust the handlebar height?
Pull the handlebar collar up to your desired height and lock it in place. The first adjustment may need a firm tug — that's normal on a new scooter and it loosens up after the first use. There are multiple height settings, so it'll fit a toddler just starting out and still work comfortably for an older child years later.
How does it fold? Is it actually easy?
One fold mechanism brings the handlebar down flat against the deck — takes about five seconds once you've done it once. Fits easily in a car trunk, a hallway closet, or under a staircase. Great for grandparents taking the grandkids out for the day and needing to toss it in the car.
