No — and that's the whole point. These are push & go inertia cars, which means they run on kid power. Pull back or push forward, let go, and the built-in mechanism sends them rolling. No batteries to find, no charger to hunt for, no toy that stops working at the worst moment.
You get 6 push & go cartoon vehicles — ambulance, school bus, police car, fire truck, taxi, and plane — plus a foldable city play mat that doubles as the carry bag. Everything packs into the mat when playtime's done. It closes with a fold, and it's done.
Unfold it and it becomes a mini city — roads, buildings, parking spots, all laid out. When play's over, fold it back up and the cars store right inside. There's a handle on the bag, so kids can carry it themselves. It takes about 30 seconds to pack up.
The cars are made from non-toxic ABS plastic with fully rounded edges — no sharp corners, no small removable parts. That said, the age recommendation is 3 and up, and as always, adult supervision is the safest bet with any toy for young children.
Absolutely. The cars are great on hardwood, tile, or low-pile carpet — any smooth surface lets them zoom. The mat just adds a city backdrop that takes the play to another level. Kids love having a "place" for the cars to belong.
