Yes. The blocks are made from food-grade TPE, the same type of material used in safe teething products. They have no hard edges and are designed with safety in mind. Recommended for ages 3 and up.

No — and that's noted right on the packaging. Because TPE is flexible, these blocks are not compatible with rigid hard plastic building systems. They work great on their own.
The Starter Set of 40 blocks is a great starting point for younger children. The Big Builder Set of 80 blocks gives kids more to work with. Both sets include four block sizes — 1×1 up to 1×4 — which adds plenty of variety either way.
Very easy. The studs on top press gently into matching holes on the bottom. A light pull is all it takes to separate them. Small hands can do both steps without any frustration.
